Prime Bank Cricket Club is on a winning streak in the current season of Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). Mehdi Maruf’s team has won five matches in a row. Prime Bank defeated Legends of Rupganj by 66 runs in the fifth round.
Batting earlier on Saturday (April 29) at BKSP ground number four, Prime Bank scored 284 runs losing 6 wickets. In reply, Rupganj lost all the wickets after scoring 218 runs in 49.2 overs.
For Prime Bank, opener Mehdi Maruf departed for 17 and Nahidul Islam for 0 runs. Dropping at number three, Rafatullah Mohammad played an innings of 128 runs. He had 10 fours and 6 sixes in this 125-ball innings. Besides, Zakir Hassan 26, Al Amin 22, Asif Ahmed 47 and Salman Hossain scored 33 runs unbeaten.
For Rupganj, Mohammad Sharif picked up three wickets at the cost of 42 runs with two maidens in 10 overs. Syed Russell took one wicket each, Saxena and Murad Khan took one wicket each.
