Al Amin Hossain shined with the ball in the Sri Lankan Premier League (LPL). The Bangladeshi pacer took 3 wickets after returning to the XI of Kandy Warriors on Thursday. Al Amin’s team defeated Dambulla Giants by 6 wickets in the match.

Al Amin’s first match in this year’s LPL was against Dambulla Giants. He took 2 wickets for 36 runs in that match. In the next match against Galle Gladiators he went wicketless for 13 runs. He took one wicket for 31 against Jaffna Kings in the third match and 21 for 21 in the fourth match against Galle Gladiators.

Al Amin was left out of the XI as he took only 3 wickets in 4 matches. Candy gave him a chance in the seventh game on Thursday. In the eleventh over, as the fifth bowler, Al Amin hit a couple of strikes. His victim was 2 wickets for 2 runs in his first over.
